About the Project

At Soderholm Custom Builders, we believe that building lasting homes also means building strong communities. That’s why we were proud to support Tenacre Country Day School in Wellesley, an institution deeply rooted in the lives of many of our clients, their children, and now even their grandchildren.

Tenacre recently completed the development of a dedicated Woodshop, a fully equipped space for hands-on woodworking and shop classes. As builders, we know the lasting value of working with your hands and learning through craft. We were honored to support the school’s mission by donating professional-grade tools to help outfit the new space, and we weren’t alone.

We’re grateful to have partnered with an incredible group of trusted collaborators who stepped up alongside us to contribute:

– Peter and Irene Murray of Fine Finish, Inc. who who generously donated a mitre saw
– Paul Curran and Michael McGinty of C&M Custom Carpentry, who provided a table saw
– Jay Iantosca of Tosca Woodworking and Jose Mercado of Mercado’s Interiors who contributed funds toward additional tools

“Thank you so much, Sam. This donation makes a huge difference for us. We’re thrilled to get our wood shop going, and we’re so grateful for the support from Soderholm.”
— Will Crissman, Head of School, Tenacre School

We’re proud to support the next generation of makers and builders, and look forward to seeing the creativity and craftsmanship that will emerge from Tenacre’s new Woodshop.
